Then I would be asking to be guided to Islam.

What are you asking?

In the Quran (our absolute guide and reference) it says categorically, believers and disbelievers. Clear as in night and day. You are either in or out.

You already know the deal. You know the muslims beliefs, and you know that other faiths have been tampered with greatly (not that islam is not suffering from the very same threat) and yet you ask questions that you more or less already know the answers to and the 'expected' response.

So, how can we recommend anything different from what, as you can see from this forum itself, people from around the world speaking the same language and promoting the same way of life. Nothing in here so far that I have read promotes individualistic likes and dislikes. So islam is universal and practiced pretty much the same everywhere. It does not change with the questions we ask We change as a result of our understanding or misunderstandings.

There is only ONE GOD and His name is Allah.

You can believe what you believe but I do not believe God has a name.

You actually do believe that but you refuse to acknowledge that you do.

Oh, and why do you not want to be guided to Islam?
Well if I pray to Allah, that would show I want Islam. If to Jesus, Christianity etc.

So I when I talk to God, I just use the word God.

And what do you mean by I refuse to acknowledge it.

And why wouldnt you want Islam? You know very well that 'Jesus' is Nabi Isa:as:so it pointless to say 'god' for him, a prophet.

By refusing to acknowledge means that even though you know everything about Islam you are denying it just because you dont want to believe.

Got it?

Allah swt gives glad tidings to the believers,

"Allah has promised to the believers, men and women, gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein, and beautiful mansions in gardens of everlasting bliss. But the greatest bliss is the good pleasure of Allah. That is the supreme felicity" (9:72). al Qur'an.

First of all. Personally I do not believe in any religion.

It's not that I don't "want" Islam, but it's like asking to be guided to something specific not the truth.

If it was that way I could accept any religion right now.

Ok, think of it like this, if you ask for guidance and then receive it, doesnt it show that there is truth in it, since there was power in dua for your asking of guidance to be accepted in the first place.

You can believe what you believe but I do not believe God has a name.

When you write the word "god" using a capital letter at the beginning of it, you actually give a name to the god. Just same do you use word from any language: God, Allah, Jumala...

As you have learnt in the school "Proper names begin with a capital letter." ;)

Well If I ask I ask to be guided to the truth.

Not any specific religion.

It will be said to the Believers on the day of Qiyamah, Allah says, 'Today there shall be no fear for them, nor will they grieve', this is only for those who believe in Allah and His messengers and belief in Islam.

I ask and pray to Allah swt that He guide you on to the best of the best, which is Islam.

May He open your spiritual eyes to see the truth, ameen.

Järkevää, järkevää :).

I meant it tho if someone's name is Justin. It's gonna be Justin everywhere. That's a name in my "logic".

Now in this case it's God's name.
I will use the word for the language I am speaking.

So not like: Minä rakastan Allahia (I love Allah) .

But: Minä rakastan jumalaa (I love God).

Get it?

I have visited Meqqah and Medina and here we are.

Anyways, I don't think I'll ever be able to believe in some things in Islam.

Islam is a whole religion - not for people to pick bits in and out....if you accept Islam you accept it as a whole.

I never said I accept it.

The only main thing I believe in is Oneness of God (not Allah).
