Hi forum,
These questions are open to answers from everyone, although they are largely directed towards Muslims. I’m asking these questions because I’m familiar with what Jews, Christians, and other ancient religions believe about the afterlife, but I don’t know what Islam teaches about the subject:
What is Islam’s view on the afterlife?
What does it say heaven will be like?
What does it say hell will be like?

What determines a person’s destination after death? What actions lead them to heaven? Which actions/"sins" land them in hell?
Does Islam believe in an eternal punishment/hell? Or does it believe that a doomed person can eventually make it to heaven?

What does Islam teach will happen to the non-believers of the faith after death?
I'm just being curious y'all. Thanks to anyone that answers. I'll try to get back to everyone that responds as soon as possible.

. So I just wanted to imply that Quran is the most detailed religious book on heaven and hell. Just a translation of it in your language. Heaven/Paradise (Jannah) is a place of joy and happiness as a gift for our goodness in this life and hell (jahannam) is a place of punishment for badness again in this life. Islamically, this life is just a place of test. A temporary world. Not a real life. The real life will be here after and eternal.
