Medicine
A illness/disease is given to purge sins or to test people, therefore some people refuse to take medecine thinking its within Gods will and his nature, is this correct?
(This was Our) way with the messengers We sent before thee: thou wilt find no change in Our ways017.077
You see when one gets hungry they must take the medecine of food, when thirsty the medecine of water must be taken, and the same goes for when one is bitten by a poisoness snake he must take the correct medecine to counter it. Even the one who wants to completely rely on Allahs help cannot live without food and drink.
Abu Hurairah Reported that the Messenger of Allah said: Allah sent no disease for which He sent no cure
- Sahih Bukhari
^ This shows that there is a CURE (Medecine, method) to prevent each and every disease. SO THERE IS A CURE FOR CANCER! But they must be taken! You cant leave a camel untied rely on Allah and expect it to remain there!
Best Forms of Treatment
Hizamat - Cupping.
Lodud - A medicine Used through the mouth
Saut - A medicine used through the nose
Mash'ye - A medecine for purgegation of Bowels
Unlawful forms of Treatment
The following is unlawful even for medicinal purposes:
Filth
Semen of Men
Stool
Urine
Unlawful animals such as swines and unlawful things such as wine are lawful however when your life depends on it.
Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
