QUIZ: How much SUNNAH do U KNOW?!?!?

LOol.... i'll answer it ukhtee, soon inshaAllah...

ya 3azeezah you mean like the ameer right, leader of the balad right?

wassalaam

^ Yes...............ok I have to sign off now, I hope to see the answer when I come back insha'allah :D Itll be hours from now so dont worry about me coming behind your back :p;D

LOol ^ hehe...

Ok sunnah in following the leader

Following him in everything but that which is unlawful

"laa taa3ah li makhluuq fee ma3siyyatil khaaliq" there is no obedience to the created (human) in the disobedience of the creator...

umm.. forgot takhreej sort us out girls...

Following his orders

Ibn umar narrated that the rpophet alayhi salaatu wassalam said It is obligatory upon a Muslim that he should listen (to the ruler appointed over him) and obey him whether he likes it or not, except that he is ordered to do a sinful thing. If he is ordered to do a sinful act, a Muslim should neither listen to him nor should he obey his orders.
muslim

The just ruler

Is from the seven under the shade of Allah on the day that there will be no shade except the shade of Allah, hadeeth abee hurayra, in muslim (is it in bukhaari too i don't rememeber)

The tyrant

Verily I have heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) say: Anyone among the bondsmen (of Allah) who was entrusted with the affairs of his subjects and he died in such a state that he was dishonest in his dealings with those over whom he ruled, Paradise would be forbidden for him.
narrated by ma3qil bin yassaar

this is all i can remember ukhtee

next question: Sunnah of Brotherhood giving examples and stuff inshaAllah...

wassalaam

:sl:
How are you guys? Hope youre fine in iman and taqwa, amin. I just arrived from out town, alhamdulillah.
Soooo sunnah following the leader:
1. "yaa ayyuhalladhina amanuu atiiullah wa atiiurrasul wa ulil amri minkum", from this ayah ulama tafseer said we must obey Allah and Rasulullah without conditions, in eveeeeerythings, but obey the ulil amri with conditions, along with the hadith Umm Sulaim said above that "no obedience above ma'siyatil kholiq".
Ooh I remember once the government of Saudi ever told the soldiers to cut their beard, and all ulama alhamdulillah gave fatawa that its haram to follow them :brother: masha Allah, Ulama there so strong and powerfull alhamdulillah. In here, Indonesia we dont have taht kinda ulama at all  , almost all everyone called ulama here just juhala and khutoba', in the future insha Allah. I hope from my children insha Allah :D Ameen.

2. And hadith "help your bro who is zhalim and got zhalim-ed (Its arabic english ;D )". So perhaps our government who is muslim doesnt stand Islamic law, that doesnt mean we may say something bad about them, and then doing political demonstration against them and ghibah about them. But like Ibnu Abbas (If Im not mistaken) said:"If I have one wish that certainly will be answered by Allah, then I will pray for my leader". So we still have to obey them in haq and disobey them in batil.

But guys, you know something what amazes me? I think the arabian country still consider the advices from ulama so much Allahu A'lam. Although they cant stand Islamic laws in their country but still the consider their advices, especially in critical situation. Like when Kuwait attacked by Iraq long time ago. Ulama Saudi said its ok to seek help from USA to protect the country. As long as we dont make our dien as a sacrifice right. And masha Allah the manfaat form fatawa which full with ilm can be seen, there were alot of, thousands of USA's soldiers be muslims that time, masha Allah walhamdulillah. So fatawa which with ilm will bring alot of barokah masha Allah.
Just intermezzon guys :peace:
So next question . :brother:

next question: Sunnah of Brotherhood giving examples and stuff inshaAllah...

wassalaam

Mmm...sunnah of brotherhood? Insha Allah.

1. Al Hashr: 9

"But those who before them, had homes (in Medina) and had adopted the Faith,- show their affection to such as came to them for refuge, and entertain no desire in their hearts for things given to the (latter), but give them preference over themselves, even though poverty was their (own lot). And those saved from the covetousness of their own souls,- they are the ones that achieve prosperity."

2. Hadith Bukhari and Muslim: Narated by Anas radhiallahu anhu:" Rasulullah said "Your iman will not perfect till someone love something for his brother something that he love for him self".

3. Al Maidah:2

"... وَتَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى الْبرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَلاَ تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى الإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
"

"...Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear Allah. for Allah is strict in punishment. "

4. Al Ahzab: 21

"Ye have indeed in the Apostle of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah."

Mmm...some addition from you guys insha Allah will manfaat :peace: :coolbro:

MashaAllah nice summary akhaana Dhul, thanks for your encourahging words too..

sister amira wants to add
Supporting eachother
"al mu'min lil mu'min kal bunyaan yashuddu ba3dhuhum ba3dhaa"
the beleiver to the other is like structure, they support eachother...

I'll add some too inshaAllah...

Telling our brothers we love them

3an miqdaad bin ma3dee karib that the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalaam said "if you love your brother then tell him that you love him"
Sheikh Al-banee ra7imahullah put this hadeeth in his sa7ee7a

Making du'aa for our brothers in their absence

Hadeeth umm dardaa that she heard the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalaam say " verily the du'aa of a muslim for another in his absence is answered, above his head is a guardian angel, everytime he makes du'aa for his brother in good the angel says ameen wa laka bi mithil, o Allah answer his du'aa and the same to you"
hadeeth is in muslim.

Accepting their gifts

Abee hurayrah radhiyaAllahu anhu narrated that the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalaam said "tahaaduu ta7aabbuu"
give to eachother so that you may love one another"
This hadeeth has kalaam around it but sheikh albanee declared it hassan, and we too that it has asl and that its meaning is sa7ee7...
(if any of you have more on its si77ah let us know plz)

wassalaam

:sl:
Lol...writing the summary take me about 2 weeks :D I did it little by little, lol. And Im wondering what happening to bro Abdmajid, hafidhahullah. And I did it just for fun, eventhough we are doing murajaah here, nothing wrong if we make the thread have some fun insha Allah, as long as its still in the limit of syar'i.
I just feel happy I can learn together with my salafy bro and sis, masha Allah you all just like a needle in straw, masha Allah.
So whats the next question? I dont see any? ^o)
Ok then, I will go the next question then: TELL ME SUNNAH THAT WE SHOULD DO CONCERN DAJJAL.

Talking about Dajjal, do U guys know that theres a man in Bangladesh, or India :? I forget, his name is Beghawan Sri satya sai baba. And it said he ca raise dead body and make a rain. ^o) And the book said some muslims came to advice him but those muslims became his follower :uuh: I was wondering wether he is the dajjal? :rollseyes But Im thinking again thru the evidence of the coming of dajjal, theres no proves dajjal is coming, so tahts mean he is not the dajjal mentioned in hadith. Allahu A'lam. Just sharing information with you guys insha Allah. I just take ibrah from it. He is not dajjal, but some muslims have became his followers, Im sure this muslims is awwam, and even if theyre asatidhah or something, then they cant be salaf. Cause from hadiths we all know, only a true salafy jamaah ahlulhadith who can recognize this dajjal and protected from him, may Allah make us strong on this right path, amin.

Wa alaykuma salaam wa ra7matullah,

na3uudhu billah, thats kinda scary subhanaAllah, but guys remember Dajjaal is from the 3alaamat al kubraa right...
and the rpophet alayhi salaam did say "layakununnaa thalathuuna kadhaabuun"
there will be 30 great liars...
(there are more but the 3ulamaa said that these wil be the ones with a large number of followers)

and do you guys remeber the story of that little boy at the time of the prophet that was called Ibn Sayyaad, the one that claimed he was the prophet?
the prophet said innamaa huwa dajjaal , verily he is nothing but a liar, and then the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalaam saw him sleeping under the tree, and wanted to go closer to hear what he says in his sleep, but Ibn Sayyaads mum saw, and woke her son up, the prophet alayhi alaatu wassalaam said, if i were to get nearer i would have known if he was real, aw bi hadhal ma3na...

akhaanaa Dhul is right, its 3ibrah though.... na3uudhu billah min sharrihee!! thx for sharing that with us

TELL ME SUNNAH THAT WE SHOULD DO CONCERN DAJJAL.

1. seeking refuge in Allah from him

Aisha radhiya Allahu anha said she heard the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalam seek refuge from the trial of the dajjaal in prayer.
muslim

and hadeeth abee hurayrah radhiya ALlahu anhu that the prophet in his tashahhud sought refuge in Allah from four...and from them was the trial of the dajjaal.
bukhari and muslim

this is all i can remember guys....

wassalaam

Descriptions of Dajjaal

In hadeeth Abdullahi bin 3umar, the prophet alayhi salaaatu wassalaam saw a vision of Eesa alayhi salaam.....then he saw a stout man, with too much curly hair and his right eye was blind and swollen like a floating grape...
muslim

also hadeeth Jaabir radhiya Allahu anhu that the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalaam said there is not a prophet that Allah has sent and hasn't warned his people about the Dajjaal, and verily it has been made clear to me, what hasn't been made clear to no other, verily he is blind (in one eye) and your lord isn't blind.

:sl:
Lol...writing the summary take me about 2 weeks :D I did it little by little, lol.
Ooooooh I thought you did it in one sitting :D masha'allah that's nice of you.

And Im wondering what happening to bro Abdmajid, hafidhahullah.
Well for some reason, I dont know why, He asked the moderators to ban him from this forum.......so we're one member less Allahul Musta3aan :(

Ok then, I will go the next question then: TELL ME SUNNAH THAT WE SHOULD DO CONCERN DAJJAL.

Ok in addition to what umm-sulaim said, isn't there the hadeeth also in which Rasulullah asked us to read the Beginning ten verses of Surah al-Kahf, on the evening of every Jumu'ah, and he said that whoever does this then he will be protected from the Dajjal. :)

As for that Bangladeshi man, then I think that he is just a freak maybe ;D It's just hilarious though, just another test for the Muslims Wallahu A3lam........Is he really hairy? Because the Dajjal is supposed to be hairy right ;D

*sorry I'm just really laughing over here :X *

But like how ukhti al habibah umm sulaim said, he's just most probably a Dajjal in the meaning of "Liar"

Umm sulaim do you remember that Saying by some Ulama? I can't remember who? ( I can never remember who :offended: ) But he was talking about that Indian man, he said " Ratinun al Hindi........wa Maa Adraaka Man Ratin? Dajjaalun min ad-Dajaajilah, Idda3a assuhbata ba3da an-nabiyyi bi thalaathu mi'at sanah!! "

I loved the way Aisha said it

for the other people out there, it means : Ratin al-Hindi, and what do you know about Ratin? He was a Dajjal from the other Dajaajilah (plural of Dajjal) he claimed to be a Sahaabah 300 years after Rasulullahs death!!

Oh yes and also the hadeeth in which Rasulullah said that if Any one of us was to live in the time when the Dajjal comes, then we should never go out to meet him, because the powers which he will have will be so great, that a person with very strong Iman will turn weak......

May Allah protect us from that Amin.

Ok i'm finished with going off topic :hiding:

OK next question!!

:sl:
First, my friend brought a book about this dajjal, and like usual he showed me and asked me "Is he really a Dajjal akh?", and then I took the book and I read some of them. And so this sai baba lookedlike an Indian, big built and have this hair like an african, U know wat I mean? This huge rounded hair like bee's nest :D . And its said he could raise someone who is dead, can bring the rain, can heal the sickness, and he has large followers by now. And so muslims there sent their ulama (ulama only to them I think, Allahu a'lam) but these ulama became his followers  , so I thought right, I was a bit shocked too to read the book, cause the characteristic some of them just fit with the hadith, you know right about raising the death, can bring the rain, its realy the characteristic of dajjal right. But then I thikn again, it could be sihr or colaboration between jins and human, and I also think Imam Mahdi still unexist now, and we still have those heavy weapons, cause in hadith we will have this big armageddon war between Imam Mahdi and Dajjal with horses and swords. So theres no nuclear and M16 or whatnot. And I also think this dajjal have normal eyes (the book got his pic) and if he really a dajjal we could read 'kafeer" on his forehead. After examining that I became calmer cause its definitely not Al Masihud dajjal, but he is just like sis Mawaddah and Umm Sulaim said, one of those dajjalun kadhdhabun.
I just think its no a masihid dajal right? But there are muslims being his follower already, how if its really him :rollseyes Thats why I was a little bit shocked :D. Cause of the fitnah is so biiiigggggg right, and theres no goarantees we can escape from this fitnah :-\ . Just tholibul ilm, study and study and do whatever can save us from his fitnah. Thats why we have to seek protection from his fitnah after tasyahud.

Umm Sulaim, you forgot one thing thats really important about slaughtering animal :uhwhat Ya'ni saying "bismillah". And hadith said:" From Ali bin Abu Thalib radhiallahu anhu, he said:"Rasulullah shalallahu alaihi wasallam told me four kalimah: Allah will curse someone who slaughter animal to something beside Allah, Allah will curse someone who curse their own parents, Allah will curse someone who give protection to ahlul bid'ah, and Allah will curse someone who change the line of the land".
