Allah has said: "Take not (for worship) two gods: for He is just One Allah: then fear Me (and Me alone)."

No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him!

6.Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped!

They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned).[/PIE]

Say thou: "I am but a man like you: It is revealed to me by Inspiration, that your Allah is one Allah: so stand true to Him, and ask for His Forgiveness." And woe to those who join gods with Allah[/PIE]

Say: See ye? If Allah were to make the day perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah, who can give you a night in which ye can rest? Will ye not then see?[/PIE]

10.
(He is) Lord of the East and the West: there is no god but He: take Him therefore for (thy) Disposer of Affairs.

11.
Say: "Think ye, if Allah took away your hearing and your sight, and sealed up your hearts, who - a god other than Allah - could restore them to you?" See how We explain the signs by various (symbols); yet they turn aside[/PIE]

They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah: there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him).

13.
Take not with Allah another object of worship; or thou (O man!) wilt sit in disgrace and destitution.

14.
These are among the (precepts of) wisdom, which thy Lord has revealed to thee. Take not, with Allah, another object of worship, lest thou shouldst be thrown into Hell, blameworthy and rejected.

Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment.

Say: "O ye men! If ye are in doubt as to my religion, (behold!) I worship not what ye worship, other than Allah! But I worship Allah - Who will take your souls (at death): I am commanded to be (in the ranks) of the Believers,

17.Is it not to Allah that sincere devotion is due? But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say): "We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah." Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful. [/PIE]

Say: "O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will).

Take not with Allah another object of worship; or thou (O man!) wilt sit in disgrace and destitution.

When believing women come to thee to take the oath of fealty to thee, that they will not associate in worship any other thing whatever with Allah, that they will not steal, that they will not commit adultery (or fornication), that they will not kill their children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood, and that they will not disobey thee in any just matter,- then do thou receive their fealty, and pray to Allah for the forgiveness (of their sins): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Who was the person who asked Allah, "how is it you will bring life to the dead". What was with this person, and where in the Quran is the proof of what happened?

ANSWER:
I think it was Uzayr AS and his donkey who pondered how will Allah swt bring life to the dead, so he was made to die for a 100 years and woke to find the donkey he was travelling with turned into a skeleton! And wen he went into the shopping market he found the currency had changed!

..although it says that there's been differences of opinions ..sum ulamaah say it was al-khadir 3alayhi salaam..sum say it was a man from bani israael ..and sum say it was hizqeel ibnu bawwaar!!
but then ibnu katheer went on to say how this statement's( Passer by=uzayr)
the most famous/well known of them all!
