Yes thats right, Imaam Tabari said in this verse the intended meaning of the word Nuur is our Prophet may peace and blessings be upon him.

The word "Rabb" as used in supplications in the Quran, what is well known is that the harf nida has been dropped out from it to illustrate the closeness of Allah, however in two places this is still found, what are these two places?

i didnt get that, u mean there's 2 places in the quran where the word Rabb is not used as a nidaa' or it is used as a nidaa'?

:sl:

Harf Nidaa is the 'Ya' before calling someone right?
If so, then it appears before 'Rabbi' in the following two verses:

Surah Furqan: وقال الرسول يا رب إن قومي اتخذوا هذا القرآن مهجورا
Then the Messenger will say: "O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense."

And Surah Zukhruf: وقيله يا رب إن هؤلاء قوم لا يؤمنون
(Allah has knowledge) of the (Prophet's) cry, "O my Lord! Truly these are people who will not believe!"

:sl:

That is correct!

The Ism-'Atham (Greatest name of Allah) is said to be Al-Hayyul Qayyum. If Allah is called upon using this name then He answers the caller, and if He is asked in this name He gives. This name appears in three verses in the entire Quran, what are these three places.

surah baqarah in the ayat al-kursy, surah al-imraan, and surah taha?

AssalamuAlaykum

Can I ask a question please?

There's a word in the Qur'an meaning 'Yes'. It's not 'Na'am' and it's not 'balaa'. What is it?

:salamext:

:sl:

lol I believe I asked this question in this thread before, but I wont spoil it, open your Quran people and start looking!

Is it in this ayah?
ويستنبئونك أحق هو قل إي وربي إنه لحق وما أنتم بمعجزين

The word إي

And they ask you (O Muhammad SAW) to inform them (saying): "Is it true (i.e. the torment and the establishment of the Hour; - the Day of Resurrection)?" Say: "Yes! By my Lord! It is the very truth! and you cannot escape from it!" [Surah Yunus, 53]

Jazkillah. :p

Ok, I guess it's my turn?

In which surah is Allah's name mentioned in each verse, at least once?

Surah Mujadilah.

What was the last will of Prophet Yaq'ub for his children before his death, which is given in surah al-Baqarah ?

Not to join others in worship with Allah.

Or were you witnesses when death approached Ya'qub (Jacob)? When he said unto his sons, "What will you worship after me?" They said, "We shall worship your Ilah (God - Allah), the Ilah (God) of your fathers, Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), One Ilah (God), and to Him we submit (in Islam)." [Surah Al-Baqarah, 133]

Next: How many times does the name Muhammad appear in the Qur'an?

Four times.

Surah Baqarah
Surah Ahzab
Surah Muhammad
Surah Fath

Who are the FIVE prophets whom Allah informed of their coming before they were born.

Peace be upon all the Prophets

Yahya
Isa
Isaac
Yaqub
Muhammad(sallaAllahu alaihi wa sallam)

Surah Al-Imran, verse 44
