No new questions in mind, but allow me to rePost a question submitted here earlier. [Don't go searching for it here, try your other sources].
Try this:
An order was revealed in the quran, which was later cancelled in the next ayah. For which Hazrat Ali r.a said he was the only one to act on that order[as it was cancelled soon after that].

What was that order. Why was it revealed in the first place? Surah/Ayah?

if you have already read this here, allow others to try.

:sl:

^I found this on a website:?

Anas ibn Malik said:

We used to read a verse of the Qur'an revealed in their connection, but later the verse was cancelled. It was: "convey to our people on our behalf the information that we have met our Lord, and He is pleased with us, and has made us pleased". (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 5, p.288).

Thats a hadith speaking about an ayah that was cancelled[mansookh]. In the ayah in my above question, only the order was cancelled in the next ayah. Like say.. one ayah say DO THIS, and the next is revealed later saying you don't have to do that anymore. Get it?

waRabbaka Fakabbir :D

I got it as soon as I left you that day Alhamdulillah, but forgot to post it later.

Now answer my question^

:sl:

Yeah! Niice :D
ورب ك ف ك ب ر

One of the uses of 'و' is to start a sentence, so when thats taken as such in there^ the rest of the verse is the same back and forth!

And I know that verse! Its there in my head! Only recently I remember reading about it...
