:applaud: Very good, also in Surah Aal-'Imran 3: verse 51 . . . ;)

:D Next question:

:shade: "Thun-Nun" fall's into darknesses crying aloud "laa ilaha illa anta subhaanaka inni kuntu mina-z-zaalimeen". Where is that verse? :p ;)

:w:

Re: Qur'an Challenge!

:sl:

"Dhan Nun" is mentioned in surah Anbiya verse 87

"And Yunus, when he went away in wrath, so he thought that We would not straiten him, so he called out among afflictions: There is no god but Thou, glory be to Thee; surely I am of those who make themselves to suffer loss."

I see that the questions are getting a bit "too" easy lol. Well here is one easy from me. Those of you that have seen it before please refreing from answering, JazzakAllahu Khairan.

The phrase “QatalahumulAllah” which literally translates into “may Allah Fight them!” but in truth is just a figure of speech of the arabs, a really strong curse that Allah only uses twice in the Quran. Which are the two places?

Re: Qur'an Challenge!

:sl:

I found it!!!! ;D

9:30 The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

aaand!

63:4 When thou lookest at them, their exteriors please thee; and when they speak, thou listenest to their words. They are as (worthless as hollow) pieces of timber propped up, (unable to stand on their own). They think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies; so beware of them. The curse of Allah be on them! How are they deluded (away from the Truth)!

Do I get points now?! ;D

(PS .. you dont have to put the recording in an MP3 file :thumbs_up )
