I see the rain falling, hitting the ground below, I feel like I’m in another fantasy way from harsh reality. The cold raindrops touching my face, it’s like I’m being cleansed by grace.
My hands raised to try and greet the rain, but each drops slips through
My fingers in vain but making me try yet again.
The mellow breeze blowing on my face, making its presence known and I see the direction of the autumn leaves blown.
People rushing as if the rain was poison.
It’s all a rushing commotion but they don’t stop to look, and I imagine it all in slow motion.
The streets empty and its like life’s gone away as if on a summer holiday.
I turn and dance as if I own the world, the rain my music.
I close my eyes and smile as the fantasy gradually fades, at least the rain did stay awhile and I open my eyes and see the fresh new green grass blades.
