Usually they cook Bubur Lambuk (a kind of porridge) which is not as heavy as breaking fast with rice because people will go to pray after that and continue with Qiyam Ramadhan.

Allah swt has blessed us with the gift of this month...I really love spending it with you guys too.. I think it is the highlight of being here is the month of Ramadan..

btw can someone tell me what is in this dish? it all looks so yummy.. I have been on this atkin diet and I am about ready to throw in the towel for some real food lol

In the plate theres samosas (triangle shaped thing with usually minced meat and potato filling or vegeatable and pototo filling), then theres some dates, some apple and some jalebi (extremely sugary fried thing, not healthy at all)

In pakistan this just is starters, the main course comes after, usually your rice and meat, or bread and meat
