Ramadhan
This month has me thinking deep
about who shall follow in my feet
I pray that i have children so sweet
who worship Allah and in truth, speak.
I beseech Allah to forgive me my sins,
verily i repent, with sincerity within.
Love i share, for all my kin,
and i pray Allah guides all unto him.
See, its hard finding a path so pious
when everyone is sent to try us,
when temptation from satan spies us
and we gotta rise above the unrighteous.
Yet, we all know this is the best fate:
to enter Jannah, through a blessed gate,
to recieve a worldly message, in town or state,
and the party hereafter shall surely be great...
for all the believers shall gather together:
in a land that has the perfect weather,
fruits, and honey for those who were clever,
and we shall never see pain, yes never.
To have the sight, the might, pray at night,
to recite well, the truth tell,
and seek admission into Jannah, not Hell.
But during this month, satans away,
locked up tight, bound in chains.
And this month by OUR will, we stray,
so we pray we are righteous, day to day.
And if we fail, what can we say?
Repent sincerely, and Raab, obey.
"We long to please You, if we may"
yet what can we do if Your answer is "nay"
Allahumma please hear our call:
allow us a chance, no matter how small,
to show you our Imaan can become tall,
that we can sore up high, and cease to fall.
Allahumma please listen to all
believers of you alone, more mighty than all,
the Al-Zalimun call.
Each believer is a brick in your garden wall:
it shall not crumble, nor shall it fall,
our strength united, verily, we call,
Our Deen and Imaan are a gift from You.
As Believers we Praise You, for all that You do.
