Compelled buy a confused mind
her pen and paper she finds
her confused thoughts come forth
her direction, she’s hoping to find.
A messed up soul, A dying heart
A stained book of Records
Wondering On what path does she walk?
Is it the one of salvation? That is the intend,
but wonders if she’s really on the one of destruction
so lost, so confused
so much in pain, so spiritually bruised
(it’s) fogging her Path, dunno where she’s headed
Judgments gone haywire
from the Path, she fears she’s been unfooted
Temptations cross her path
like a pendulum moving in front of her back and forth
right, left. By their bewitching movements she’s taken in
Distracting her from reality
distracting her from purity
Tainting her once clean heart
how she yearns for a clean start
Yearning to blow past mishaps away
Yearning to see a clear way
Prays and hopes for a good end
but wonders, what has she done to deserve it?
As sins pile on day by day
blinding her heart
blinding her way
satans got a tight grasp on her, causing her to stray
she can’t help but wonder if she’s already lost the way
oh Lord help this lost soul find its way
