Salams, how do Imams get paid at Masjid? Do they get paid through Sadaqah? What is average wage a week?

It probably varies from Masjid to Masjid. Some Masjids may give the Imam a weekly wage, some do hourly.

In masjid that built by individual or community, Imam usually getting paid from jama'ah donation. But in masjid that built by institution like government or business company, Imam getting paid from special budget which provided by institution that built this masjid.
