If you allow a person to enter your heart & mind then you have no control of yourself. To empower yourself it's important to distance yourself from what outsiders think of you as this is a very simplified opinion - be more concerned about what Allah swa thinks of you. Imagine your whole life being scrutinised and your every little action and intention being questioned. We have a lot more to worry about than worrying about people's opinion of an individual. People are human human beings and as human beings our knowledge and interpretation can be flawed and limited. Why concern yourself with issues which do not concern us. Make life easy and worry and concentrate on yourself - don't worry about the labels and categories that people put on you.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "For fasting the day of 'Ashura', I hope that Allah will accept it as expiation for the year that went before."
[Reported by Muslim, 1976]


This is from the bounty of Allah towards us: for fasting one day He gives us expiation for the sins of a whole year. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty.

So keep your head up high, His help is indeed near!
