'Abdullah bin Busr (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: One of the Companions said, "O Messenger of Allah. There are many injunctions of Islam for me. So tell me something to which I may hold fast."

He said, "Keep your tongue wet with the remembrance of Allah."

[At-Tirmidhi].

Every time you mock someone else for a flaw or sin that they're committing, know that you may be tested with the same sin. The scholars say that it will either be inflicted on you as a punishment for your mockery, or your focusing on someone else's flaws will cause you to become ignorant of your own.
May Allah protect us from being arrogant towards others and ignorant of ourselves. ameen
