Revive a Sunnah

"WEARING WHITE COLOR CLOTHES" ✦

It is preferred to wear the color white, as it is pure and clean.

Samurah ibn Jundab (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Clothe yourselves in white, for indeed it is cleaner and more pure; and shroud your dead in it.”

[Sunan At-Tirmidhi, Book 41, Number 2810, Grade: Sahih]
Aww.........
I love wearing full white cloth......

Supplicate with conviction that ALLAH will answer you" ✦

Anas (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: “When one of you performs supplication, he should supplicate with conviction and should not say: O Allah, confer upon me if You wish, for there is none to compel Allah.”

[Sahih Muslim, Book 35, Number 6477]

Narrated Jarir bin 'Abdullah (RA):
Allah's Apostle (SAW) said, "Allah will not be merciful to those who are not merciful to mankind."

BE LIKE A FRESH TENDER PLANT" ✦

Narrated Abu Huraira (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) that Allah's Apostle (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said,

"The example of a believer is that of a fresh tender plant; from whatever direction the wind comes, it bends it, but when the wind becomes quiet, it becomes straight again.

Similarly, a believer is afflicted with calamities (but he remains patient till Allah removes his difficulties.) And an impious wicked person is like a pine tree which keeps hard and straight till Allah cuts (breaks) it down when He wishes."

(See Hadith No. 558, Vol. 9.)

[Bukhari: Book 7 Volume 70 Hadith 547]

Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

Ramadan is only few days to go, Insha'Allaah!

Revive all aspects of the Sunnah this Ramadan, i.e.:
1. Read Qur'an (with understanding)
2. Delay the suhoor & hasten the iftaar
3. Be Generous to people
4. Use Siwaak
5. Shake hands when greeting people (not with non-mahram)
6. Seek forgiveness
7. Spending on charity
8. Take advantage of the accepted hour of prayer
9. etc. (Visit http://on.iloveallaah.com/jthxo for other Sunnahs!)

Annas (RadiyAllaahu 'Anhu) reports Rasulullah (SallAllaahu Alaihi Wasallam) advised, “Whoever cherishes my Sunnah, indeed he cherishes me & whoever loves me will be with me in Jannah.” [Tirmidhi: 2678]

REVIVE A SUNNAH

PRAY TARAWEEH (QIYAAM AL-LAYL) IN RAMADAN" ✦

Abu Huraira (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) reported: The Messenger

of Allah (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) would encourage

standing for night prayer in the month of Ramadan without

making it an obligation, and he would say, “Whoever stands

in the night prayer during Ramadan out of faith and seeking

his reward, then all of his previous sins will be forgiven.”

When the Messenger of Allah died, this became a regular

practice and continued throughout the Caliphate of Abu

Baker and Umar.

[Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Number 1663]

It is narrated by Abu Dharr (radiyAllaahu 'anhu) that The

Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Whoever prays qiyaam with the imam until he finishes, it

will be recorded for him that he spent the whole night in

prayer.”

[Narrated by Abu Dawood (1370) and others. Classed as

saheeh by al-Albaani in Salaat al-Taraaweeh, p. 15]

Nor strain thine eyes in longing for the things We have given for enjoyment to parties of them, the splendour of the life of this world, through which We test them: but the provision of thy Lord is better and more enduring.
[Surah Ta Ha:131]

Narrated Sahl bin Sad: Allah's Apostle (SAW) said,
"The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast."
(Sahih Bukhari :Book #31, Hadith #178)

And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other. Surah Al Hijr [15:47]

FORGIVE AND FORGET! ✦

Did you have a fight with one of your relative and you didn’t speak with them since that?

Did someone hurt you and you can’t forget what they did?
Did you hurt someone and you didn’t say sorry yet?
Don’t you talk to a friend because of a misunderstanding between you both?

If “yes” then now it is your chance to correct this situation in this Ramadan

It doesn’t matter if you are right or wrong
It doesn’t matter if you started that fight or not
Just do it! be the first one who forgive and purify the heart
Be the one who hastens to forgive people

Prophet Mohammad (sal-Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “It is not lawful for a man to desert his brother Muslim (and not to talk to him) for more than three nights. (It is unlawful for them that) when they meet, one of them turns his face away from the other, and the other turns his face from the former, and the better of the two will be the one who greets the other first.” [Bukhari: (Book #73, Hadith #100)]

And the most of all, don’t delay it… forgive and forget! because your deeds may not be acceptable in this blessed Month of Ramadan if you have a grudge against someone you know.

You must know that the deeds of 2 people who have grudge against one another are not raised to Allah in regular days so what about Ramadan?!!

Prophet Mohammad (sal-Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:

"The gates of Paradise will be opened on Mondays and on Thursdays, and every servant [of ALLAH] who associates nothing with ALLAH will be forgiven, except for the man who has a grudge against his brother.

[About them] it will be said: 'Delay these two until they are reconciled; delay these two until they are reconciled.' [Muslim: Hadith Qudsi 20 ]

Just turn the page right now and have a fresh start with everyone you know, forgive everyone with no exception.

Enter Ramadan with a forgiving pure heart, in shaa Allah

(remind myself first)

“Establish worship at the going down of the sun until the dark of the night, & (the recital of) the Qur’an at dawn. Lo! (the recital of) the Qur’an at dawn is ever witnessed. And some part of the night awake for its recital, as voluntary worship for you. It may be that your Lord will raise you to a praised estate.”
(Qur’an 17: 78-79)

:sl:

Jaabir bin Abdillaah (radiallaahu 'anhu) said •►"If you fast let your listening, sight and tongue fast from lies and sins."

[Shu'abul Iymaan of Imaam Al-Bayhaqiy, Musannaf of Ibn Abiy Shayba, Az-Zuhd of 'Abdullaah bin Mubaarak and others]

Say, [O Muhammad], "If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your relatives, wealth which you have obtained, commerce wherein you fear decline, and dwellings with which you are pleased are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and jihad in His cause, then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people."
(Surah Tawbah 9:24)

Easy Deeds with TREMENDOUS Rewards :

Say: سبحان الله وبحمده، سبحان الله العظيم
(Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Azim)

"How perfect Allaah is and all praise be to Him, how perfect Allaah is, The Supreme" as much as you can as these are two expressions which are easy to say, but they are very heavy on the scale of good deeds, and they are beloved to Allaah.

Prophet Muhammad (sallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said,
كلمتان خفيفتان على اللسان ، ثقيلتان في الميزان، حبيبتان إلى الرحمن: سبحان الله وبحمده، سبحان الله العظيم

"There are) two words which are dear to the Beneficent (Allah) and very light (easy) for the tongue (to say), but very heavy in weight in the balance. They are: Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Azim (Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise)'.

[(Bukhari: Hadith No:673, V:8) and (Bukhari, B:9, V:93, Hadith 652)]

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA):
The Prophet (SAW) said, "Time will pass rapidly, good deeds will decrease, miserliness will be thrown (in the hearts of the people) afflictions will appear and there will be much 'Al-Harj." They said, "O Allah's Apostle! What is "Al-Harj?" He said, "Killing! Killing!"
