Narrated Ibn Abbas:

When the Verse:-- "If there are twenty steadfast amongst you, they will overcome two hundred." (8.65) was revealed, then it became obligatory for the Muslims that one (Muslim) should not flee from ten (non-Muslims). Sufyan (the sub-narrator) once said, "Twenty (Muslims) should not flee before two hundred (non Muslims)." Then there was revealed: 'But now Allah has lightened your (task)..' (8.66)

So it became obligatory that one-hundred (Muslims) should not flee before two hundred (non-muslims). (Once Sufyan said extra, "The Verse: 'Urge the believers to the fight. If there are twenty steadfast amongst you (Muslims) ..' was revealed.) Sufyan said, "Ibn Shabrama said, "I see that this order is applicable to the obligation of enjoining good and forbidding evil."

And it would in. crease the delight of the inmates of Paradise and it would increase the grief of the inmates of Hell-Fire.

Bukhari :: Book 1 :: Volume 3 :: Hadith 98
Narrated Abu Huraira:

I said: "O Allah's Apostle! Who will be the luckiest person, who will gain your intercession on the Day of Resurrection?" Allah's Apostle said: O Abu Huraira! "I have thought that none will ask me about it before you as I know your longing for the (learning of) Hadiths. The luckiest person who will have my intercession on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who said sincerely from the bottom of his heart "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah."

And 'Umar bin 'Abdul 'Aziz wrote to Abu Bakr bin Hazm, "Look for the knowledge of Hadith and get it written, as I am afraid that religious knowledge will vanish and the religious learned men will pass away (die). Do not accept anything save the Hadiths of the Prophet. Circulate knowledge and teach the ignorant, for knowledge does not vanish except when it is kept secretly (to oneself)."

And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.
(Surat Al-Mā'idah 5:2)

You have to refuse others when they ask you to help them in any type of wrong deed it might just cheating in a test or sitting and backbiting. Try to stop them and if they don't agree with you. Get up from there. Allah knows why you did it. Don't get trapped by Satan , he already destroyed many of our lives. imsad

It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdur-Rahman b. Abu Bakra that his father said:

We were in the company of the Messenger of Allah (SAW) that he observed: Should I not inform you about the most grievous of the grave sins?

The Holy Prophet repeated it three times, and then said: Associating anyone with Allah, disobedience to parents, false testimony or false utterance.

The Holy Prophet was reclining, then he sat up, and he repeated it so many times that we wished that he should become silent.

Strange is the visa of life...it can be cancelled at anytime. The duration of its validity unknown, and its extension too is impossible

Shaykh Yunus Patel (Raheemahullah)

“The example of a good companion and a bad companion is like that of the seller of musk, and the one who blows the blacksmith’s bellows. So as for the seller of musk then either he will grant you some, or you buy some from him, or at least you enjoy a pleasant smell from him. As for the one who blows the blacksmith’s bellows then either he will burn your clothes or you will get an offensive smell from him.”

And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah ]

(Surat Al Baqarah 2:45)

Reported by Jabir (RA): Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said,

"Satan appears at every thing done by you; he appears even at one's dinner.

When a morsel of any of you falls, he should pick it up and remove any dirt on it, and then eat it. He should not leave it for Satan,

nor should he wipe his hand with the towel until he has licked his fingers, for he does not know in what portion of the food the blessing lies.''

[Muslim]

Reported by Abu Hurairah (RA): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said,

"When Adhan for Salat is pronounced, the devil takes to his heels and breaks wind with noise so as not to hear the call. When the Adhan is finished, he returns.

When the Iqamah is announced, he turns his back, and after it is finished, he returns again to distract the attention of one and makes him remember things which he does not recall in his mind before the Salat, and says

`Remember this, and this,' and thus causes one to forget how many Rak`at he performed.''

[Bukhari and Muslim]
