The death of a loved one is a reminder to us. After all, life is a preparation for the day you will meet your Maker. [Mufti Ismail Menk]

Follow the Sunnah, thank people the proper way and be rewarded by Allah! :)

Usama Ibnu Zaid reports: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

“Whoever says “Jazakallahu khayran (May Allah give you a good reward)” to anyone who has done him a favor, he has thanked in the best way.” [Tirmidhi, Birr 86, (2036).]

The best of Muslims are those who fought at Badr, as we know from a Hadith.

Uthman, Ibn Umar and Salman did not take part in the battle of Badr, yet they are of the greatest of Muslims.

In other words, focus less on the acts, take care of your heart. Allah Azza Wa Jall looks at the heart. He sees it full with love for Him, He sees it dedicated to Him, He sees it moving towards Him; then He shall not send you away, but He shall give you all you want.

Everyone knows how love is pleasurable. Then make the effort to make Allah Azza Wa Jall feel such pleasure. It's entirely up to you. He will show you He is more loving than you, and you will be happy in both worlds. Love Allah Azza Wa Jall by loving His beloved, Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). Honor him. The Companions never called him by his name, but they would say "O Messenger of Allah", peace and blessings be upon him and his family, as many times as the number of people since his time until the Day of Judgment.

Sometimes you need patience to find true happiness. It won't come fast and it will not come easy, but it will be worth it.

‘Al-Ghazali said, “If you see Allah, Mighty and Magnificent, holding back this world from you, frequently trying you with adversity and tribulation, know that you hold a great status with Him.

Know that He is dealing with you as He does with His Awliya’ and chosen elite, and is watching over you, have you not heard His saying,

“So wait steadfastly for the judgment of your Lord – you are certainly before Our eyes. {At-Tur 52:48}”

Never think that you've asked the Almighty too often for what you want. Keep asking again and again.

He loves the sweetness of your prayer

Not everyone will be happy at your success, nor will everyone be saddened by your loss.
So be careful whom you share your personal matters with...

It's Sunnah to fast ‪#‎Ayyam_al_Beed‬ (13,14,15 of a Lunar / Arabic month).

“It is sufficient for you to fast three days every month, because for every good deed you will have (the reward of) ten like it, so that will be like fasting for a lifetime.”
Bukhaari (1874); Muslim (1159).

“If you fast any part of the month, then fast the 13th, 14th and 15th.”
Tirmidhi (761); Nasaa’i (2424).
[authenticated by al-Albaani]

When you recite the #Quran from al-Fatiha to al-Nas you get approximately 33,200,000 rewards.

In #Ramadan that's going to be multiplied many times.

Abu’d-Darda’ narrated that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:

مَا شَيْءٌ أَثْقَلُ فِي مِيزَانِ الْمُؤْمِنِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ خُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُبْغِضُ الْفَاحِشَ الْبَذِيءَ

“There is nothing that will weigh more heavily in the balance of the believer on the Day of Resurrection than a good attitude, and verily Allah hates the foulmouthed person who speaks in an offensive manner.”

- Narrated by At-Tirmidhi (2002) who graded the report as saheeh. Classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh at-Tirmidhi.

Walaikumasalaam,

Jazahka Allah for reminder sis!

That's reality that is.

We beautify our homes today and it will all be gone. A temporary abode and i personally believe, the most intelligent one on this planet is not the one with the highest academic grade or the best high-paid career job; but, rather, the one who plans and prepares for the next world.

By doing good in this world we can prepare to beautify our homes in the next life. By keeping the Quraan as our companion, the Quraan will remember us and intervene for us and give us company in the grave. In sha Allah.

May we all be saved from the punishment of the grave Ameen.
