I just wanted to let you all know that your kind words have been of great comfort to me recently and although I do not know any of you I do feel connected to you all due to Islam. I told my parents and well they reacted as expected - not exactly happy but they didn't kill me lol.

I am content with my life right now

If you ever need to talk to anyone about anything and how you're coping with everything, feel free to send me a PM sister. Sometimes it can get a little lonely out there being the new and only Muslim in the house. That was a big step to tell your parents and I'm happy they did not kill our new dear sister. ^_^ Allahu Akbar!

I know how you feel about being contented with your decision.. I'm still fairly newly reverted and i am blessed too... unlike you ... i could not tell my parents ( difficult since i live w/ them.. ) but that aside.. I made the best decision for me, as i know you did for you too.
