just on the topic of roosters crowing, the Prophetarabic5: ) advised us to ask for Allah's Blessings, as in the hadith:
Narrated Abu Huraira (Radhiallaho anho):The Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) said, "When you hear the crowing of cocks, ask for Allah's Blessings (min fadlihee)for (their crowing indicates that) they have seen an angel. And when you hear the braying of donkeys, seek Refuge with Allah from Satan for (their braying indicates) that they have seen a Satan."
Bukhari Vol. 4 : No. 522

under the title: "Places and times where du’aa’ is answered"
Source11 – When hearing the crowing of a rooster, because of the hadeeth: “When you hear the crowing of a rooster, ask Allaah of His bounty, for he has seen an angel.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2304; Muslim, 2729.
