Safe chat ?

Assalamu Alaykum Brothers and Sisters,

Is there a safe chat for a new Muslimah to join and ask questions live?

I can't seem to find a good place to speak with Muslims. The one or 2 chat rooms I visited was filled with eager men spamming me with marriage proposals lol. I'm married, so I'm definitely not looking for that.

But I'd like a good pious,friendly chat room to discuss spiritual topics however!

Can anyone help?

I feel so alone and I'm so eager to talk and learn more!

It would be good if This forum had a live chat feature

But to answer your question....not so sure :)
 
Thier isnt something like that and i think their are a few reasons behind that.
How about joining the sisters section (when you get to 50 posts). Thiers a whole load of friendly sisters here where you can ask whatever you wnat. :)
 
I think live chat would be nice too. So if a potential muslim needs help we can assist even help them take the Shahada insh'Allah
 
as sis afifa said..........after you become a full member, you can join to sisters section, you will have your privacy there to ask whatever come to your mind.....and I am sure you will enjoy with us there :)
 
Or try to become a full member & then pm a few sisters that you think are knowledgable ask if they have MSN if they do add them and ask away.
 
No problem but you can pm any sister mod right now and ask them also, so you don't have to wait for 14 posts. And I know you're desperate and might post spam. So this ideas better since 1 post with knowledge is better then 20k spam posts.
 
=) I will do that. Can you recommend a knowledgeable sister? I wouldn't spam post hehe. I will take my time.

Can't you do it to staff members? Sister jawarah is a staff member.
 
This looks like I"m spamming LOL!

But no, not even staff members unfortunately. I did try.
 
I'm a been there, done that convert, so if you want to chat with someone who's been there, done that, I'm free. I'm not on chat much, but I do well with email.

Also, avoid the yahoo islam rooms. I spent a year or 2 in there after I converted, and I got absolutely 0 spiritual growth out of it.
 
Janaan, I'd love to talk with you especially since you are a Sister.

Since I cannot PM however, can you PM me your email? I'll shoot one over. :)

I am especially eager to talk to converts! Since you are more likely to totally understand my situation currently.
