To my knowledge , it's allowed . Also u can go to mosque and offer salat behind Imam / in congegration . For men , rewards are minimum 27 times more than offering salat at home.

Allah Knows better but the very first time I saw the name mohanned I felt like someone's ridiculing the name of Mohammed
Forgive me if it was offending to anyone or the thread starter...
 
Assalamu Alaikum

It's an arabic name meaning sword and it's not pronounced with the 7a sound like in Muhammed. :D

Good to hear that you've started to pray...Brother I have a 1hr video which explains everything about prayer...It's origin, wudhu, tayammum and ofcourse Prayer. However I forgot where I downloaded that from...If you want that, I'll create a torrent and seed it for ya'...:hmm::hmm: It's really helpful and it is titled 'Pray as you have seen me pray'.
