I got my science today and Inshallah maths tomorrow!
Inshallah i'll pst the results together (depending on how i did in Maths
)lol that reminds me, the girls in my school got their SATs science and maths results, there was loads of screaming, so i guess that means they got good marks, *my ears are still ringing* :statisfie

I know they changed now becuase my nephew is in year 9 and he told me about the results. These are the top levels, i used to revise day and night.

Salaama Alaykum,
Wow..your system is very different from the Canadian one. The only standardized tests we have are EQAO and the Literacy test, other then that..we have exams and the following week we get our results. I'm very confused, I'm not even sure what an 8a is. :?

Ah, by the time I explain it, I shall become a hunchback. But perhaps I can go through before that.
Okay so here it goes:
The levels are given accordng to your marks (duh). The higher your marks, the higher your level. The levels go from 1 to 8. the a, b or c is added after the level to show whether, for example (if you get a level 7), you got a high level 7 or low level 7. If you get 7a, you've gotten a high level 7. If a 7c, you've got a low level 7.
That's it... And it seems I have a looong way to go before my vertebrae curves

Well SATs in the UK are what 13/14 year olds take in Secondary school. I think the national average is a 5 (or was it a 6?)...and the higher you get..the better you performed.
And it doesn't stop there...you also have letters such as 5A/5B/5C, for example. A is the highest meaning you got a solid 5...and C means you just scraped it.
And as you can see, some of our little Brothers and Sisters did exceptionally well. Congratulations to them all...
