school and college sucks

I heard that there are people like me that actually graduated college and got their careers, but I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do. I can only hope for a merical or something.

Brother the more you think, the more stressed you will get. Just stop thinking and leave it for Allah. That doesn't mean you sleep and leave it for Allah though, just do what you can and don't be so hopeless. Trust Allah blindly and He shall bestow His light upon you inshallah.

inshallah, and please brother, pray for me alot, I want more good things to happen to me and my family, like my dad getting more money in his job and me getting better in school and me getting better socially.

Please I need all the duas I can get, I am sick and tired of being stressed and frustrated

Now I see the actual problem. I suspect you are being pressured into a career you have no interest in.

A long time ago I had a young man in my case load who was a dismal failure in school. He could not keep up with his studies, hated school and yet knew he had the potential to be a surgeon. He did quite well in premed, but when he hit med school he could not keep up nor take the stress. He came from a very long line of Doctors his grandfather was a well known MD as was his father and 2 older siblings. He had the aptitude and intelligence to be anything he desired. After speaking with him a few times I discovered his ambition was to build automobiles, not any auto but formula one racing type. I talked with his parents and they finaly agreed to let him go into automotive design, and he excelled at it and has made quite a name for himself. But, he was depressed because he felt he let his family down. It was after his family accepted that medicine was not for him did he finally start enjoying school.
 
woodrow, that is not what I am talking about, I don't even know what I'm even good at hence why I am undecided about my major at the moment.

That is a start and also a very diverse field. Very wide open, what would you prefer working with hardware or doing soft ware design or just working with a computer such as in Graqphic designing or system analysis?

Brother i see great advices for you on this thread MashaAllaah

You have to be patient untill you finally learn how to be patient lol if that makes sense, what i mean by that, if you talk about your difficulties all the time and not deal with them, how are you going to be patient? that will just increase stress and make you feel like your hardship is never going to end. Yes you will be happy if you stop thinking about education sooo seriously and thinking its your only way to please yourself which ofcourse is not.
And brother you should not wish you wasnt born, or how are you going to enjoy the afterlife? if you wasnt born you would have no chance in meeting the prophets Pbut, and esp when you get a chance to see the face of Allaah and meet him inshaAllaah.

I read somewhere that when you get hardships and you passed and then Allaah tests you with a harder one, he is only testing your faith, and if you smile you will not regret it. So if this life is really hard for one, the hereafter will be as easy!

Try to do what you enjoy and what you think also pleases Allaah and dont let education make you feel stressed if you do not get what you will then just be happy with that and pray to Allaah to make it easy for you the next time and leave it to Allaah, as long as you have tried hard,put effort in. on the bright side you wont be taking these grades, job whatever with you , you will leave it all behind, so just do as much as you can and take the brothers and sisters advices.

I just feel uncomfortable and scared and I don't feel like going to class sometimes because i'm undetermined and Im afraid of the tests and assignments because I'm afraid I won't do good in class.

I feel so messed up right now, what the hell am I gonna do?

Help is never any further from you than your prayer rug.


Now is the time to pray for guidance and sincerly ask if university is the right path for you. Each person has within themselves wonderful talents. But, they need to learn what these talents are and how to prepare for them. I notice you live in NC. Go to your nearest State employment office and request to speak with an employment guidance counselor. Request a full battery of aptitude tests and ask to be given the Kuder preference test and if possible the MMPI. From there go over with you counselor and single out your areas of highest interest and aptitude. That is a starting point for finding the best vocation for you and a guide to learning what fields of study you should excel in.
 
Why does school have to be so hard? 4 years of hell just to get your degree and your career, and then you die afterwards, it's pretty much the same like we are going through, life is hard but you have to do good to get to jannah. I don't even know if i should be jealous of the people that did their four years and they became engineers, why couldn't I be as smart as them and get my career? working hard is not even easy for most people and yet most other people are able to work hard, this is just unfair.
 
Allah better hurry up and give me a good oppurtunity so my life can be friggen easy. I've waiting for a **** long time for Allah to give me that oppurtunity, but he's not helping me, im sick and tired of waiting and I don't want to wait any longer.

Leme tell you honestly ya Akhee, if you read of the hardships the prophets went through, yours in nothing compared to theirs, but if you actually focused on their hardship you will learn something, 1. how to be patient, 2. to be humble and sincere
And those who focus only on their problems and forget about the ones around the world to learn from are hypocrytes! i can honestly say you would be in tears.

The Character of the believer is to be patient and to be strong!, i dont see that from you! If only you was to Ask Allaah directly to ease your hardships, and to praise Allaahs creation. From your comment i see you giving up and a muslim never gives up

By showing your anger and complaining is certainly not gonna get you anywhere, as brother Woodrow mentioned earlier in a post, do something that pleases you (the career path).

Your saying Allaah isnt helping you? I can surely say he is helping you!, Your still alive and breathing right? Dont you ever feel your blessed coz Allaah still gives you the chance to be able to live another day and to be able to repent for your sins? You never know when Allaah wills to take your soul, coz you seem to be wanting to have more enjoyment in this life rather than the hereafter. Does that not concern you more? Than thinking of how hard some exam at school/college is? I think you need to learn to be patient with what youve got, you need to take a step further to be patient in your times rather than complaining brother.

I sincerely mean this, And I ask Allaah to ease your hardships and grant you happiness and grant you what pleases you and your lord Ameen
But please try make an effort to Ask Allaah and realise that we are humans also, we can only advice you and Allaah can only make it happen for you. I advice you to supplicate to Allaah sincerely, humble yourself!

there are so many people in this world that can't get a career because it's hard for them, not only because they can't go to school, because they don't really understand some of the material.

things are getting worse now, it's not gonna get any better, and don't even think about feeling sorry for me.

everything is getting more messed up, I can't believe things are more messed up now, than it was before, it's actually hard for me at some points to think positive at times, even though people go through hardships, things get better later on.
 
Aslaamu`Alaaykum^ I guess as a muslim you should realise that things will get better later on. As muslims we ask Allaah to help us, thats why we dont worship idols!
You first must have faith and trust without that you cant really do much i believe.

Brother are you being forced to go in to education? If not, are you really putting that effort in to pass your exams? do you make Dua to Allaah to help you pass?
However this life isnt to achieve the best career but our goal is Allaah . . .if we dont get what we want, should we be blaming Allaah?

Lets say you pray for what you want, but you know Allaah instead he gives you what you need, are you going to be angry with Allaah for not giving you what you want, because he gave you what you need and thats always whats best for you!

I hope sooner or later someone will give you good enough advice, i feel im not helping, but do try to ask Allaah more, is he not the one that created you? We are also his creation and we all seek for his help in our hard times, we are like you, you arent the only one going thrugh hard times, maybe it would help if you look at those who are less fortunate than ourselves, but you will still see them smiling and thanking Allaah.

A believer says Alhamdulilaah always, in hard times.

life is tough bro, if you can get over that then you can be successful. do you even try in college? it sounds like youve given up from the get go.....

it's not my fault if things are hard for me, and it's also not my fault if I'm frustrated and stressed with school, getting worried about school is messed up and troublesome for me, and no I'm not gonna lose trust to god, but all of these problems that are happening to me are causing me to lose trust to god.

getting worried for school is a horrible feeling, like it's never going to end, and I'm basically in the middle of it, I am trying but the material is hard to understand especially history classes, English classes( hate them mostly) and worst of all are math classes.

why can't Allah give me lot of knowledge right now just to get through these stupid classes so I can hurry up and get my degree and career?

why does Allah make other people smart and successful but not me?
