Are there any Scientologists on this forum? I just wanted to know because I want more info. about it. To me, it seems like the most made up religion out there even above Mormonism. I mean a science fiction novelist created it...doesn't that say something?

I read some sci-fi books and use to watch "star trek" e.t.c

Do I qualify for this sci-fi club?

it is a cult for which many hollywood heavy weights are lobbying to turn into a religion... a cult that will take you to planet Xenu and ask you to feed the baby corn syrup to foster growth and devlopment... yup all the rage.....

"Our daughter was born, and I was pressured to obey LRH's preference of no breastfeeding of babies. I went so far as to write him personally and query his position, but he reiterated his preference. Our daughter's front baby teeth were destroyed by LRH's baby formula which required barley water, milk, and corn syrup." what one woman had to say to L ron Hubbard's bizzare baby food--and what the sceintology hand book suggested " Scientology's Volunteer Minister's Handbook:

Breast feeding babies may have a nostalgic background, particularly to a Freudian oriented medico, but real breast milk again is usually a poor ration. Modern mothers smoke and sometimes drink. Smoking makes the milk very musty. Anyway, a nervous modern mother just can't deliver the right ration. Maybe it's the pace of the times or the breed, but there are few modern Guernsey-type mothers. So even without drinking or smoking, one should forget breast feeding"
still think it is a religion?

I think Germany and Austria refused to recognise Church of Scientology as a religion thus deprived them from religious organisation tax discount ... or something..

Glad to be an athiest :)

We athiests, notice that Islam has a lot of rules.

I consider the rule above to very a very silly rule. And I have heard of many Islamic rules. As a result am glad to be an athiest. :D

Sometimes I can be tooooooo subtle!

Scientology has a lot of dumb rules and therefore I am not a scientologist.

Religion has a lot of dumb rules and therefore I am not religious.

^^ more like athiesm has no rules so it lets u live like an animal..

now stop going off topic... no one was asking about what you think of religion or Islam for that matter..

Isn't this information thrilling? I am not sure what you'd like for us to do with this "subtle" info.? Would you like a standing ovation?

blah blah blah

This is now my third attempt to respond.

It it a religion? Yes it is a religion.

You are saying it has dumb rules.

You're religion has dumb rules too.

Because of the dumb rules I could never join your religion.

According to you, it was god who ordained your dumb rules.

If there were a god he would not make dumb rules.

Therefore I conclude there is no god.

Sorry I was too subtle before.
