Seven Wonders of the World

A group of students were asked to list what they
thought were the present “Seven Wonders of the World”.
Though there were some disagreements, the following
received the most votes:

1. Egypt’s Great Pyramids
2. Taj Mahal
3. Grand Canyon
4. Panama Canal
5. Empire State Building
6. St. Peter’s Basilica
7. China’s Great Wall

While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one
student had not finished her paper yet. Therefore, she
asked the girl if she was having trouble with her
list. The girl replied, “Yes a little. I couldn’t
quite make up my mind because there were so many.”
The teacher said, “Well, tell us what you have, and
maybe we can help.”
The girl hesitated, then read, “I think the Seven
Wonders of the World are:

1. To See
2. To Hear
3. To Touch
4. To Taste
5. To Feel
6. To Laugh
7. And to Love.”

The room was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.

The things we overlook as simple and ordinary and that
we take for granted are truly wondrous!
A gentle reminder--- that the most precious things in
life cannot be built by hand or bought by man.

MashAllah.
PS: *starts laughing* I remember the pin drop statement when we lost our volleyball game because of lack of communication and our coach started yelling and giving us push ups while saying "WE WERE SO QUITE I COULD HEAR A pin drop".

The seven wonders:

1. To See
2. To Hear
3. To Taste
4. To Feel
5. To Laugh
6. To Know
7. To Sleep

Feel and touch are pretty much the same thing.

The word 'feel' is very vague and encompasses a lot of things. One definition of feel: to perceive or examine by touch.

Others:

2. to have a sensation of (something), other than by sight, hearing, taste, or smell: to feel a toothache.
3. to find or pursue (one's way) by touching, groping, or cautious moves.
4. to be or become conscious of.
5. to be emotionally affected by: to feel one's disgrace keenly.
6. to experience the effects of: The whole region felt the storm.
7. to have a particular sensation or impression of (often used reflexively and usually fol. by an adjunct or complement): to feel oneself slighted.
8. to have a general or thorough conviction of; think; believe: I feel he's guilty.

Lets just get the message the story contains not the mistakes,we are humans and are old, she's a little girl ,we make mistakes and obviously she did too. We have flaws and you should accept that the ruler.

lol pin-drop moment = that time... where times freezes because your soul is shaken by something amazing thats just happened...

right?

pin drop moments were usually in school, when you got caught doing something naughty and there was silence, pin drop silence, just before getting screamed at :enough!: :D

or if youve done something really embarassing, which is followed by pin drop silence :D

^ i neva had those pin-drop moments lol, i had the one i described though.... many many times Alhamdulillaah

That's not the full story. It goes like this:

Which was followed by a barrage of laughters. After some five minutes of laughing and calling names finally the class calmed down.
The teacher said: "Seriously what the hell is wrong with you? That's not the seven wonders at all!
That's just a mixture of senses and some emotions. Stop doing that...
And call your mom tomorrow."
