What are 'blogs' exactly? I was about to share some of my fave webbys but I don't think they are 'blogs'.

Thank you, brothers. Last night I put up a new article. I am not sure how well it will be received by some Muslims. It is basically about my family history in coming to America. I also touch on the good America is capable of.

I love my country and I always will, even though it has made terrible mistakes in the past and present. If anyone reads it please let me know what you think. I know America is a special subject with some Muslims. I just hope to open peoples eyes, especially people who think my country is all bad.

Asalamu Alaikum

There's no secret way to increase traffic to your blog. All that you can do is be sure that you get the word around and place a link in all your forum signatures. Tell people about it and for readers to come back again and again, you need to update content regulary and also content which will appeal to your readers.

It doesn't happen overnight, for the first month, my blog had no visitors, now four months later, it has loads. Google has even indexed me well too.

Just be patient, your time to shine will come slowly, but surely. :)

Excellent, thank you for the advice. I am, sometimes, impatient. But I enjoy writing and this will be a nice forum to do it.

I tell you what you could do. Go around on other Islamic blogs, commenting on posts which you can comment on and sooner or later, people will start visiting your blog.

Also, ask them if they can have a link to your blog, and in return you provide a link to their blog on your blog.
