qismate a'lam ka muslim kokab-e-tabinda hai
jiski tabani sai afsoon-e-sahar sharminda hai
 
andaa'gah apni mot se koi bashar nahi
saman so baras ka hai pal ki khabar nahi
 
by iqbalkushada daste karam jab wo bai nayaz kare
niazmand na kiyoon aajzi pe naaz kare

kehne laga ke dekh ke chal rah be khabar
men bhi kabhoo kisi ka sare pur gharoor tha

As Salaam U Alaikum Brothers ans Sisters.

I have been through all the Urdu Shairi posts and am amazed to see the interest of you all and am very very Happy. Brother Waji had earlier in the first shairi thread tried to get those interested to try out this system of seeing what went on in the mind of the Shayar when he wrote what he wrote. Although this thread started off very well, it stopped abrubptly, which having come across it today, I felt sad.

Allama Iqbal seems to be a favourite with most of us and one must agree, He did his best to wake up the Ummat while he lived, and unfortuanately, we have missed to truely understand the Haqiqat behind his wake up call. Any way, I have since 2002 been collecting some Urdu Bayaans by one person, who has been using not only Allama Iqbals verses, but other poets also, and connecting them with Quraan and Hadith and Aqwal e Aulia. Let me share my findings with you all, and I am sure if you Like Shairi, you will like the Bayaans in which the shairi is abundently quoted.

Allamah Iqbaal ki khas baat yeh hai keh onhon ne Maghrabi moashiyaat, moashrat aor hukumti nazaam par zabardast tanqeed ki aor khamiyoon ki nishandahi ki. Elawa azin kuch peshangoiyaan bhi keen jo harf ba harf durust sabit ho rahi hain. Allamah Iqbal ko parhne wala yeh faislah nahi kar pata keh Iqbal aik shair tha, yah aik peshangoh, yah phir aik mubaligh-e-Islam.

Koshish ki hai kuch likhne ki. Kehne ko hai tho bohot kuchh lekin alfaaz ko tarteeb nahi de pa raha. :embarrass

Mirza Ghalib

Ghalib aik aisa shair hai jis ko aksariyat ne samjha hi nahi ya samajhne ki koi mukhlisanah koshish hi nahi ki. Kehne wale kehte hain keh Iqbaal apne daor ka Ghalib tha aor Ghalib apne daor ka Iqbaal. Intihaa tho yeh hai keh Allamah Iqbaal bhi Ghalib se mutasir nazar aate hain. Ghalib ke bare mein pai jane wali ghalat fehmi ka azala karte huwe kehte hain keh woh ishq-e-majazi mein nahi balkeh isq-e-haqiqi mein mubtila tha.

Apni Nazam "Mirza Ghalib" mein Iqbaal farmate hain

Deed teri aankh ko os husn ki manzur hai
Ban ke soz-e-zindagi har shay mein jo matur hai
