Not everyone is smart enough to figure out the nuances of technology and internet. Did you have any funny misconceptions or wrong understanding of IB and its features in your initial days on this forum?

I had this overwhelming sympathy for 'anonymous' as I took him to be a member of IB. This member was going through all possible tragedies and accident I can think of.

I even prayed for him ; D

lol a whole section devoted to anonymous's problems. That would be insane might as well just give up on life...:heated: astagfirullah.
I didnt know we had pages where people could leave comments and one day I found it (a year later) and I felt really bad about all the people I didnt even acknowledge.

This happened to me on UI actually.As this was the first time i was using a forum and i did'nt know about the tools.I learned so many things myself but the thing always surprise me was those rep comments.I accidently stumbled upon settings once and i saw some comments over there,i went back to the threads but after trying again and again,i wont be able to find them over there and i was surprised how they appear here when i cant see them in the thread :giggling:

I thought anonymous is a sister. I was so shocked when 'sister anonymous' complained about her husband, but five days later she said she was in love with a guy.
 
:statisfie LOL I know we shouldn't laugh at other's peoples mistakes, but I found this funny - and believe me I do lots of silly things that I laugh at myself for (don't take it as I am making fun because I am not!). I knew that it was an anonymous poster from another forum I am on they allow questions/advice, but I think since they have a whole section for them it made sense. Now if they were just posting all over, I could see how that would cause confusion!

and sister 'Aleena I think it is really caring of you that you prayed for this person (as you thought), but really you did pray for ALL of the people that have posted in the section!

Actually, I had never been to the anon section. I would just stray on the side bars and the top five post. And co-incidentally, they were all brothers.
 
Actually... at first me too was thinking that Anonymous is member here and were worry how much problems he/she has in life.

and yes the members with avatars as BANNED and ACCOUNT DISABLED.. i thought they were actually banned but now i am confused!

One common habit among Indonesian people is 'put' family members or close friends in companies or institutions that they lead. It's common in Indonesia if a businessman get married, immediately his wife hold a strategic position in his company. I have seen many cases like this.

That's why, when a sister from Jannah Network wrote a post on IB, I thought she is Beardo's wife.

But later after another sister from Jannah Network wrote a post too, I realized, Beardo does not follow Indonesian people habit.
