I was just wondering that after applying for access to the mixed sisters room how long does it usually take to find out if you are approved? And if you are not approved will you get a pm saying that you weren't and why?

I suppose as long as it takes one of the mods there to approve your application - that may depend on when they are logged in and free.

The mods in the mixed female section are Al-Mu'minah, Umm 'Abdullah and Mawaddah.

I remember applying for the sisters' forum (before there was a mixed female section), and receiving a polite pm informing me that my application could not be considered ...
I don't think that's likely to happen in the mixed female section though ... unless there were doubts about the authenticity of your gender. kay:

Precisely. Al-Mu'minah and I tend to get to it ASAP, although we get busy with other things also. If for any reason we decide to reject applications, we try to let members know why.
