I can't stand british accent goddddddd how many jokes do we make about it here in north america haha british slang must be horrible. I hate slang it's so immature but i guess it's all good when your young.

a few words like *u* instead of *you* is fine but a proper sentence with all the $£ is annoying
 
I don't really like slang much coz i don't understand it properly.And it slows down ur reading.

On-topic, I don't mind when people talk in slang. I can understand it since I grew up around schoolboys who talk like that to this day. I don't like using slang much though, except for comic effect.

I detest text-speak with a vengeance though. That's another way to look stupid, even though I know for a fact that the person texting me is very bright indeed.

It gives me a headache trying to decipher it
It makes the person looks like a nitwit
I especially hate it when ADULTS use it

Those are a few of the thoughts that go thru my head when I see text type writing.

As for like speaking slang, then I dont mind that, actually I even wish that I could speak it but I can't lol....so I just like to listen to people talk it
 
I could not be bothered to read the text-speak and slang filled posts. I ignore them. Too much effort is required to read them.
