mashallah hes sucha butifull person :D:D:D:D. alwyz was der 4 RasoolAllah (saw) & d way he was like a soft gentle person, made him such a butiful person :D:D:D:D he was caliph for about 2 yrs, and durin his time in khilfat, he killed the wannabes such as musailma - who lied to be a prophet :p & he changed the army commander to Usamah (ra) cos RasoolAllah (saw) said he wanted to, but RasoolAllah (saw) passed away so Abu Bakr (ra) did it :D:D:D erm erm :p theres loads of thins to say sista :D:D:D was dat beneficial :p

mashallah lol although i lurve all d sahabas like mad :p but wen i 1st got in2 islam Hadhrat Umar (ra) realy inspired moi :D

now now Hadhrat Umar (ra) he was a fighter :p before he was muslim, he used to be a fighter & do wrestlin & he didnt loose :p he was propa strong, he converted to islam, afta RasoolAllah (saw) prayed to Allah (swt) "make islam strong with one of the two umars" - i think this hadiths is narrated in Muslim, in the virtues of sahaba book :D:D:D:D, and Allah (swt) chose Hadhrat Umar (ra) to be muslim, and the other Umar (Abu Jahl) :p was lik the enemy:p of islam, so .... Hadhrat Umar (ra) convrtd 2 islam when he was on his way 2 kill RasoolAllah (saw) & he met sum1 who stopped him & said " before u try to kill RasoolAllah (saw) look whats happenin @ ur own house,2 his sisters house & kill her 1st because she had converted to islam" so Hadhrat Umar (ra) wen 2 his sistas house & he heard the Quran bein recited & he knocked on d door & wen his sista & her hubby, knew that it was Umar (ra) dey all began 2 panic, & the person who was readin the Quran to em, Hadhrat Khabbab (ra) hid behind a cupboard:p, wen Umar (ra) came in he asked wot dey woz readin, dey sed nuttin, then he sed "i know ur muslims" & he started 2 beat his bro in law up :p mashallah, den his sista stepped in & she got hit by accident & den Umar (ra) calmed down & he sed let me see wot u readin & his sista sed 2him do wudu 1st & Hadhrat Umar (ra) read from the leaf & it was surah Ta Ha ...

"Ta - Ha, ma anzalna alayka ana alkur litashqa, Illa tathkiratan liman yakhsha tanzeelan mimman khalaqa al arda waal samawati alaula"

and afta hearin these verses he knew dis was d propa truth & he decided 2 convert 2 islam, and wen he converted 2 islam, the muslims shouted takbir so loud it cud b heard everywer in makkah :D mashallah, and wen he became a muslim, d muslims became stronger & they wud pray openly & they wouldnt be scared, because no1 had the guts to mess wit Hadhrat Umar (ra) mashallah!!!

lol dis is long so lemme quickly end it :p he was khilifah 4 like 10 yrs, he was known as the golden tongue - because wen he used to say summin Allah (swt) used to agree with him & reveal a verse to RasoolAllah (saw) showin he agreed wit Hadhrat Umar(ra)

lol dis is not all :p ders so so much i can say bout both Hadhrat Abu Bakr (ra) & Umar (ra) but it wud like take up bare pages :p mashallah 2 great people mashallah :D:D:D
