They have been there for a while and doing all well Alhamdulilaah. I have a suggest for you all If anyone wants to make a topic regarding a specific language or culture then this is an Islamic forum so why not share it in the general section

Arabic is the word of the Quran, and it is very vital to every muslim..therefore, it should be required not just available..and Urdu is the second language majorly spoken by LIers...and other languages are derived from eachother so we cud have like a general language section and it cud have various threads since the languages are not as major..but other than that its probably not soo necessary.

Ok agree the Arabic section should remain but

If the Urdu section were removed, it will save the administrators money by not maintaining it. Also it will save the moderator’s time by not monitoring it.

Why not change it so its like: other languages section and then people post a thread with different languages e.g. The Urdu thread, The Italian/goodfella's thread, The martian thread (for me) etc.? Bro muezzin said something similar ages ago.

IMHO, requesting language sections other than Arabic and Urdu will never be a reality in this forum.

The Arabic section is not THAT great, and the Urdu section is, God knows what happens in there, but they are there because we have people capable of moderating them.

Unless, we can find people who can really moderate the other language sections. just let the Arabic and Urdu speaking members indulge.

This is one of those times where ignorance is bliss.

So, don't ask.

Like I said before, the reason why we have an Urdu and Arabic section here is because either the majority of the members are Arabs or Pakistanis. I know there are many, many minorities here, but the fact of the matter is if we create one section, then we have to creat another section. It is not the matter of getting moderators to moderate it. It is the matter of seeing the majority of the people here.
