isnt that the traditional somali dress..just a fancier version which they wear for weddings..its so cute how they hike it under one arm cause its so long..

ive got one on now looooolooool its red and orange and my hijab is just as bright lolol...though i would never wear one outside cos theyre so see through

don't know about dat... but it depends wat country dey r from e.g. France..Supposedly dey got beta silk, i fink so....

my friend from somalia, who also lives in somalia, she says that the thin ones are more expensive

i dont know...wahey all i know is im gonna get me plenty of jilbabs woohoo inshaAllah and ive made a plan that when i go on my hols to get hijabs...oooh hijabs ooooh...my mum likes us wearing them but we dont really...i prefer the ACTUAL traditional somali dress...which is more like the eastern african style clothing...its soooo cool!!

Might be..Dirac are supposed be thin coz u get somefin similar to dirac which is not thin...Don't kno whether u know it - 'baati' (don't kno if i spelled dat rite)...I would never a dirac ever again after i had an 'accident' at some wedding..:giggling: ...Too much hassle to wear 1..

its actually quite funny wearing one...i wear big t shirts under mine and my mum gets so annoyed loooooooool....

is it laagiya or laadiya?

Mayb dat woz in swahili..:rollseyes...got ma somali and swahili mixed up..Don't wat it is called..It's similar to dirac but u wear inside da house..More comfy and no see through...

is it a dress or maybe its the sheed if thats what you call it...its like a dres thingie like the dirac but erm not see through at all...

It's da same as a dirac but not see through...dey are both made da same way and sometimes it comes wid a gabsar?...
