Salam,

No existing Office files or documents are damaged, and you can easily get Office out of this mode by following the instructions that are outlined in the screens that appear.

So, they won't get lost or damaged. But, when it comes to being able to unlock it, screens will appear with a step by step guide. Am I right?

You can email the file to yourself, and then access it from a different lcation like a library etc.

Everytime I click to open my file it asks me to activate...something.

I don't know whether I should activate via internet or phone. Its up to mommy.
