I believe I realised that when you requested new emoticons :hiding:.

Me and 4 of my friends explored an abandoned hospital.. it was very scary.. very messy.. the hospital was from WW2 era. We have visited the place quite a few times and it a lot of the time it gave us a thrilling experience. Alhamdulillah there weren't any particular disturbances to us when we were there. Now that I think of it maybe we shouldn't have done it but when you're young and with friends you really want to explore.

:salamext:

None of these places are scary at all. The fear of these places is probably only because what one imagines to be there.

:wa:

Lol I know, the cupboard under my staircase is more scarier :shade:

^put a food freezer in it and fill it with icecream and frozen pizza.. then watch it turn into a place of happiness & bliss

Yeah, your right.

If one were to clean up the building and area round it, it wouldn't look so bad. So, if the place was infested with Jinn, would it be possible to remove them all by reciting al Qur'aan? and then live there peacefully, or would they remain their believing it's their home? Because they're from another dimension/world, they should go back? or just leave the place alone.
And the jungle or forest's are only deserted with tree's that make them look more scary at night, i'm sure they look much better in pure daylight, and I don't understand why anyone would be chilling out at a jungle/forest at night anyway, indeed we have Allaah SWT.

I've tried this before with a couple of brothers, walking into a pitch black forest to find some jinn - it was a dumb idea and I wouldn't recommend it. But you won't know the feeling until you actually try it, you'll constantly be reciting ayatul kursi, surah an naas etc asking for Allah's protection. It's a proper imaan tester and will scare the lights out of even the toughest people.

Since we're talking about spooky places best to mention these:

“When the wings of the night spread – or when evening comes – keep your children in, for the devils come out at that time. Then when part of the night has passed, let them go. And close the doors and mention the name of Allaah, for the shaytaan does not open a closed door. And tie up your waterskins and mention the name of Allaah, and cover your vessels and mention the name of Allaah, even if you only put something over them, and extinguish your lamps.”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari (3280) and Muslim (2012)

Muslim (2013) also narrated from Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not let your animals and children go out when the sun has set, until the first part of the night is over, for the devils come out when the sun sets, until the first part of the night is over.”

Alhamdulilaah for Islaam, it is definitely a complete way of life, and Allaah did say he will test us with fear.
