Assalamu alaikum wr wb to all brothers and sisters here!

Does anyone know a site where I can find Tafsir ibn Kathir in German for download? If you find info on other famous tafsirs, let me know, doesnt matter much, but I'd prefer Ibn Kathir.

Someone requested a good tafsir in German, I am Just asking around.

If you can explain a bit more what it is you are looking for (as in who or what is 'Tafsir ibn Kathir' and what is a 'good tafsir'?), I will do my best to help you.
I have tried googling it in google.de - but unless I know what exactly I am looking for, I cannot really help.

Its a commentary basically, which uses the quran itself, hadith and statements of the companions and their student to explain the Qur'an.

Skillganon, so far not much luck.
I have found tafsirs in English, Turkish and Arabic ... but no German so far ...
Some information here ... but no downloads.

In several German Islamic forums have I read critical comments about the lack of Islamic literature in the German language ...

Presumably your friend is/speaks German?
Here is a forum thread on the subject of tafsir Ibn Khatir, which mentions that it may be released in German at some point in the future. (Sounds like a book rather than a download though ...)
