Some people can't even study half an hour straight w/o losing concentration (like me)!"

8am-9pm just doing exams !!!

:sl:

Masha'Allaah, what an achievement! Just saw this now.

Where does it say he studied for 12 hours? Or was it in the video?

What if he's a member on LI!

Mashaa'Allah this is truly an exceptional feat. Not to take anything away from this brother, but I wonder about the extent to which this will give him an advantage over other applicants in the job world where many, if not most employers value experience over qualifications.

Then again, I should imagine that a degree at Cambridge is enough to secure any job you apply for, regardless of your experience.

In any case, I pray that Allah makes this brother successful both in his deen and in the dunya.

Cambridge looks awesome in the papers.

InshaAllah he'll have a good life and will benefit from his strength to concentrate and study hard!

He reminds me of my father's cousin and my own cousin, that's how they studied/study. Dad's female cousin became a doctor in the USA and my male cousin is off to Austria to become a doctor.

,,,lol... when i first heard this i thought what an idiot!!

u dont need that many a's to get in to cambridge. he kinda wasted his time in my opinion....(unless he did it for the pleasure of allah) :D

time is important for us muslims.... so much effort for dunya.... (sigh...)... and i am i a dr myself. ...

study the quran... there may be no medals or awards handed out by society but just do everything for the pleasure of allah

... but fair enough... he has great self discipline and concentration... memory etc...

Yeah i agree, he could've utilized he's time even better looking at how fast learner he is, maybe do hifz alongside 7-8 a-levels (which is still excellent because most people do max of 5-6 a-levels and still he could've got into cambridge easily). Looking at the talent allah has given him, he could've done better for the akhirah, but still it's not over he can do alot as he is still young.

Well as you can see, its all in the studying. Everyone has the potential. Its probably overkill for computer science but, I still say good for him :thumbs_up I wouldn't go as far as to saying hes an idiot either because if you think about it, most people, if given that kind of free time, would end up wasting it on stuff for entertainment (talking with friends, watching tv, listening to music, sitting on the couch staring at the wall, etc.), while he "wasted" his time getting an education. Besides, who are we to judge? I don't see it mention anything about him as far as religion goes.

Yeahh, he most definitely didn't need 23 for cambridge; it was for himself more than anything, I suppose...

But wow...when there are people that can achieve that...intimidating, but kinda inspiring.
