..say like I came into your life for a reason. Then she goes like "how come there's the other guy?" "Why do I have him?" ( talkin bout her real dad who's barely in her life)

I wasn't sure wut to say besides life is a test

Do not explain anything. Just love your stepdaughter and be the good father for her. In Shaa Allah, she will accept you as father.

No one here can really answer this for you because we don't know your story. Why is her dad barely in her life? What role does he play in her life? What role do you play in hers? Why is her mother not answering these questions for her? etc.

Qadr in a general sense is different than what she's asking. She wants a specific, personalized answer. We can't give that to her.
