Assalamu Alaikum,

Please post anything here that pertains to what one can do for family member or friend has passed away such as du'as which will benefit them, deeds which will reach them, or actions that can be done on their behalf. Reflections about death are also welcome.

Hajj. Perform hajj on their behalf if possible. Or at least a Umrah.

Give Sadaqah on their behalf as much as possible.

Any sadaqah jariyah which they have left behind continues to reach them until the last day.

Du'a for their forgiveness and to raise their ranks in Jannah.

If they have children, any good deed performed by their children, they will be rewarded for that as well.
 
Purchase some copies of Quran and gift to students of hifz in any madarsa or take the responsibility of any orphan/poor student and bear all his expenses in madarsa
