everyday i read about oppression and injustice
about the need for justice and for matters to be resolved everywhere
the problem is its always about events and places where we have no control or influence whatsoever

so i keep repeating myself
until we do not stop oppression within our homes and families
between husband and wife,upon women
between siblings and parents and neighbours
and in our own mosques and communities
we will never affect oppression anywhere

individuals ,organisations and groups who address oppression and injustice are very popular, though they may really have very little real world impact.

many want to be "heroes"
but few want to "take out the trash and sweep the floor"

We as Muslims, are an ignorant people today. Shame to say it, but it's the truth. We're Jahils, man.

Ask a Muslim to read a book, he'll tell you "seen the youtube" or some such response. Ask a Muslim how he works out zakaat, watch him freeze. Ask a Muslim x y z, watch him pull out his smart phone.

I can go on.

No one reads anymore. Meh.

This generation be like "how do we work it out?"

next gen be like "wtf is zakaat?"

that's where we headed.

On a side note, I was reading the last chapter of the Faza'il e Amaal (virtues of practice). The last chapter is titled Muslim Degeneration and its Only Remedy.

I think that needs to be read by every Muslim.

And then, we should elaborate and brainstorm on the solution in sha Allah.
