Salam wa alekum! brothers and sister

I am aiming at opening this thread so people could simply put a word which they like!, and put the meaning of the word(dnt just copy the meaning from an online source try to make it simplified, and use it in a sentence this way i could improve my english alot(and probally other people aswell), this will act as an interactive dictionary!, and its also fun to see what kind of words people come up with. so keep the post simple and clear:) thanks, if this post is unnecessary this i am sorry!, but i thought it could be a nice idea. Salam!

idea is very nice but see who can wait for a long time for the answer. anyhow let me drop an ice breaker word. it is very simple but i love it, reasons ... you will understand!!
and the word is .....
'WE'

i guess i drop a word:) mine has to be humbleness(or modest) they express the simple way of life! and its great to have a humble or modest person around u

i have a fondness for the word "ointment", not because of its meaning, but because of its sound. i like the sound "oy".
i don't think anybody really likes ointment - its usually some gooey, gunky (often stinky) stuff in a tube that you put on your skin to treat a number of things.
OYntment lovely, isn't it? how can you take a word like this seriously? ;D

:sl:

nice idea!, i like the word ambiguous, it means uncertain. Im always ambiguous, what clothes to wear, what to eat. :)

my favourite word is 'guileless' (naive and trusting: open and honest and not expecting others to behave differently):statisfie
Nice thread btw

For some reason I love the word "ethereal"...
Google defines it as "celestial, or characterized by unusual lightness and delicacy"..

I like the word "Satisfaction"

I think its the secret of happiness :).........great to be satisfied about anything you have even if it was small, its another to say alhumdulilah

:sl:
I have many but one of them is " Ambitious" Which means to have a determined goal for something. An sentence : Im sure Mikayeel is ambitious on improving his English.

Nice idea for a thread!!hmm...
I like the loyalty and fidelity. For no particular reason really, I just like the way they sound...must be the "L".lol.

Loyalty/fidelity means faithful, truthful, being "loyal" to someone is the opposite of "betraying" someone.

:D

I have always been quite fond of the word the.

Also, the word east. :D

uberrimae fidei (utmost good faith)

my Contract Law lecturer said that we can easily remember this word if we remember "You bury me if I die"

My fave word is ACES. I guess it's coz Wayne used it in the Cramp twins.
