Are blowfish even edible?
I'm not too fond of seafood.
I've only ever had shrimp, fish, and octopus.

Yep they serve it here in Japan and its local name is fugu.

2 types;

1. From natural sources eg sea highly toxic and needs really skilled chefs

2. Farm grown less toxic and safer.

The chefs are all nationally trained and accredited and licensed yet every year still many people die from it.

Have had it a few times myself.

the largest fish living today. a whale shark. Not a whale but a true fish. They can grow up to 60 feet long. Yet are harmless and one of the most gentle creatures on earth. They only eat plankton.

and amphiuma.

An interesting story about an amphiuma A non-English speaking friend of mine netted a huge one nearly a meter (3 FT) long in Lake Bistineau Louisiana. He showed it to me and asked me if I wanted it. I said I wanted it for my aquarium. He told me to come get it later that evening. I went back to his house, he was beaming with pride and had it all cooked in fried rice for me.
