The Keys to Knowledge
A Brief Introduction to the Various Sciences of Islam​

Every Thursday after Isha (currently at 8pm UK time) (starting from 16/10/08) by Ahsan Hanif​

Have you ever attended a talk or read a book and wondered what terms such as ‘ijma’ and ‘qiyas’ meant? What scholars refer to when mentioning that a hadith is ‘sahih’ or ‘da’if’? What ‘Usul al-Fiqh’ and ‘Mustalah al-Hadith’ was? Here is your chance to find out!​

Over the coming weeks and months Insha Allah, Br. Ahsan Hanif will give a brief introduction and glimpse to the following important Islamic sciences:​

Usul al-Fiqh (Principles of Fiqh)
Mustalah al-Hadith (Science of Hadith)
Fara’id (Inheritance)
Usul at-Tafsir (Principles of Tafsir)​

Each of the above topics will be dealt with in 2-3 weeks with a basic overlook of that science with the aid of powerpoint presentations.​
