Only God knows. If the Mayans were right, it was a coincidence. Most of the world will wake up on December 13th and go about their lives except for a laugh. But there is supposed to be an end of the universe in a few billion years according to astronomers. The universe is supposed to stretch to its limit. Or we might be swallowed by the Andromeda Galaxy before that.
