Inshallah if you keep these few points in mind when talking to somebody you will recieve a better outcome.
Speak loud and clearly.
Speak from in front of the person not behind.
Address the person politely and introduce yourself if needs be.
Use language that the person understands. Do not discuss with them matters that are beyond their interllectual capacities.
Be to the point, do not beat around the bush.
Be moderate in your speech, do not expand to such an extent that the person finds it hard to concentrate or loses interest.
Finish talking about one subject before you start another.
Do not insult anyone in your speech.
when the other person is talking, do not interupt.
When renewing a request, state it fully inspite of having mentioned it before, as the person may have forgotten.
On hearing news of someones illness, death, etc do not publicize it until you have confirmed the truth of the news.
