Surat Fatir Ayat 45

If Allah were to punish men according to what they deserve. He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His Servants.

And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e. this Quran), and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allahs Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brethren (in Islamic Faith), and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.,) clear to you, that you may be guided.

[26:192]Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds:
نَزَلَ بِهِ الرُّوحُ الأَمِينُ
[26:193]With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth-

[26:194]To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish.

[26:195]In the perspicuous Arabic tongue.

[26:196]Without doubt it is (announced) in the mystic Books of former peoples.

[26:197]Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)?

Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses!

Surat Qalam

43. Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not).

44. Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Qur'an. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not.

45. And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong.
