Many, if not most cats lose their playfulness as they get older.....


Such as my cat, called Kitty (I know, its not the most original of names :embarrass) - she's been part of our family for the past 18 years, Alhamdulillah.
(In cat years, Ive been told that she is in her 80s! )

Shes playful when she wants to, and its usually self-limited......leaving us playing by ourselves, as she walks away in disinterest after a short while.
And as most cats are - shes a very fussy eater (and spoiling her hasnt helped matters either.)

Which is now a problem, cos shes in kidney failure - and needs to be on a strict diet, thats low in protein and salt.

I pray that when it is her time to leave this world, its as peaceful and comfortable for her, insha Allah.
Its tough seeing an animal that is chronically ill

All in all: this is the most special cat to me.......meet my little friend Kitty
