The following verses give highly condensed instructions on the concept of unity based on tethering to Allah :swt: so that rather than being a "gang" which goes astray and depends solely on backing each other up in anything regardless of legality or criminality - the Muslim nation automatically becomes a diverse yet united front which is able to operate coherently even during instances where smooth communication is not possible between individuals - and all leaders and citizens become accountable to Allah :swt: .
There are also instructions on continual progress towards true justice and right conduct, and a police force and judiciary which works to enforce what is ma'roof in Allah's sight, and prevents from what is munkar in Allah's sight.
The pondering on these verses removes the problems our leaders have based on irrational paranoia and narrow minded self-interest, since they easily would be able to co-operate with each other without a feeling of bitterness and hawkish diplomacy and avoid unnecessary conflict and being coerced into positions by external non-Muslim alliances into standing against each other and laughing at each others misfortune - the pattern of conflicting alliances and regular re-adjustment with the aim of keeping weakness and infighting going has become apparent over the centuries and decades.
When a Muslim leader picks up the phone and wants to discuss a business proposal with another Muslim leader - the first priority would be a consideration of it's lawfulness in Allah's sight and then that of the united Muslm States rather than a worry and tension about how it affects your relationship to the current enemy of Allah :swt: who happens to be dealing with you as if you are a part of his "turf".
We can also save ourselves from being forced to attack each other through dodgy treaties such as those which forced the Muslim world to splinter and be divided as spoils in the past.
Nato article 5 is an example of how it would be very difficult to attack a single Muslim nation without consequence.
Aal-e-Imran 3:101
وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ وَأَنتُمْ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ وَفِيكُمْ رَسُولُهُۥۗ وَمَن يَعْتَصِم بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ هُدِىَ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
And how would ye deny Faith while unto you are rehearsed the Signs of Allah, and among you Lives the Messenger? Whoever holds firmly to Allah will be shown a way that is straight.
Aal-e-Imran 3:102
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِۦ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
O ye who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam.
Aal-e-Imran 3:103
وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟ بِحَبْلِ ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا۟ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَآءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓ إِخْوَٰنًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَاۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.
Aal-e-Imran 3:104
وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِۚ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones to attain felicity.
Aal-e-Imran 3:105
وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُوا۟ وَٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُۚ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after receiving Clear Signs: For them is a dreadful penalty,-
