The state of our Muslim Ummah!

When we look around the world, & see the Muslim ummah in its current state,
A worry & concern in our hearts, it should at least create

In so many countries, Muslims are being oppressed
But we spend our daily life, without being distressed

Their lives & homes are in such a turmoil & mess,
But we never spare a minute for them, to worry & stress

They don’t have a house or shelter over their heads,
But we don’t really care, as we lie in our comfortable beds

So many men, women & children, the enemies are killing,
But we don’t care, because we’re to busy chilling

So many are living without anything to eat or drink,
But when we’re eating, about them we never think

Many have no clothes, so they walk around bare,
But we’re not bothered because we have wardrobes full of stuff to wear

So many of our mothers & sisters are being dishonoured,
But we don’t get affected because we aren’t even bothered

Surely, about the state of our Muslim ummah, we have to start to think & care
Then we will be prepared to do our share

Think about what’s happening to the Muslims in Philistine,
Then in order to assist them, we will be keen

Think of what’s happening in Afghanistan,
Then we will be willing to help them in anyway we can

Then about the state of the Muslims in Iraq,
Then surely we will be worried & taken aback

Think of the Muslims in Chechniya,
Then we will be willing to lend a helping hand

Think of what’s happening in the Kashmir state,
Then to start helping we will not wait

There’s sooo many things we can do to help the Muslim ummah,
But the least we should do is ask Allah (swt) & make loads of dua!

But do we as Muslims really care,
& do we really try to do our share??

what can we do , my friend, we came to this situation when is very hard even to say :" I M MUSLIM "

our situation today is just the same situation that first muslims have to go through, just remeber the Yasser family , the first shahid in islam , first muslims have to go through the same suffering they were oppressed , abused , killed ...
even our beloved prophet had to go through that, remember his story in Ta`if when childern stoned him to bleeding , I just started simillar thread here

all we can do is to follow our prophet`s path and learn from his life (sirra)
and as you said , all we have is Dua`a , believe me my friend , Allah is listening and he will answer our Dua`a don`t give up on his mercy
